Much Wenlock is just an 8-minute drive away. It is a quaint town, filled with independent shops, cafes, and history.

There are loads of dog friendly cafes & pubs here too:

Iron Bridge
A bit further afield, is Ironbridge, just 20 minutes away. Here you will also find a wide range of independent shops, cafes, pubs, and plenty of walks.
Across the whole of the Ironbridge gorge there is a wide selection of museums and attractions. Check out https://www.ironbridge.org.uk/
There are also a lot of dog friendly pubs and cafes all along the gorge.
Wroxeter
You can have a great experience at Wroxeter. Why not start at the Woodland cafe in the Wroxeter hotel, for a bite to eat and coffee. The cafe and hotel are dog friendly and their brownies are delicous.  https://www.thewroxeterhotel.co.uk/
Then take a stroll down the road to pick up a bottle of English wine from Wroxeter Roman Vineyard. I absolutely love the wine here and the owner, Martin is very friendly and passionate about Wine. https://www.wroxetervineyard.co.uk/
As if that wasn't enough, you could also pop over to the English Heritage site, Wroxeter Roman City to discover what was once the fourth largest city in Roman Britain.
